Refund Policy
All Registrations Are Subject to This Policy By registering for the Banking on AI Conference (the "Event"), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Refund and Cancellation Policy. Please review this information carefully before purchasing your ticket.
1. Attendee Cancellation & Refund Requests We understand that plans can change. However, as a conference organizer, we incur significant non-refundable costs (venue, catering, AV) months in advance based on registration numbers. Therefore, our refund policy is structured as follows:
-
More than [60] Days Prior to Event: Cancellations received in writing more than [60] days prior to the first day of the conference are eligible for a full refund, less a [15]% administrative processing fee.
-
[30] to [60] Days Prior to Event: Cancellations received in writing between [30] and [60] days prior to the event are eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee.
-
Less than [30] Days Prior to Event: No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than [30] days prior to the event. This includes cancellations due to illness, travel disruptions, or work conflicts.
-
No-Shows: Registrants who fail to attend the event ("No-Shows") will not receive a refund or credit.
2. Substitution Policy (Transfer Your Ticket) If you are unable to attend, we strongly encourage you to send a colleague in your place.
-
Substitutions are accepted at any time up to [7] days prior to the event start date.
-
There is no fee for processing a substitution.
-
Substitution requests must be submitted in writing to [Insert Email Address] and must include the original attendee's name and the replacement colleague's full details (Name, Job Title, Email).
3. Cancellation or Postponement by the Organizer In the unlikely event that the Banking on AI Conference is cancelled by the organizers for commercial reasons:
-
We will refund 100% of the registration fees paid.
-
Liability Limitation: The organizer’s liability is limited strictly to the refund of the registration fee. We are not responsible for any other costs incurred by the attendee, including but not limited to airline tickets, hotel deposits, or other travel-related expenses. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
4. Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control) If the conference is prevented, postponed, or cancelled due to a "Force Majeure" event—including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes or labor disputes, government regulations, disaster, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, or infectious disease outbreaks/pandemics:
-
No refunds will be issued.
-
Instead, your registration will be automatically rolled over and valid for the rescheduled event or the next edition of the Banking on AI Conference (valid for up to 12 months).
5. Agenda and Speaker Changes The views expressed by any conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor are not necessarily those of the Banking on AI Conference or its organizers. All conference agenda items, sessions, and speakers are subject to change without notice.
-
The cancellation of a specific speaker or a change in the schedule does not entitle the registrant to a refund.
